The Colors of the Fall Flowers

We were out shopping one day and saw this beautiful rainbow. Often we see beautiful rainbows after a storm on the Memorial grounds just behind the Obelisk.

The gardens around the Memorial have been especially beautiful this fall with all new plantings. The FM missionaries replanted in Sept. so that the Fall and Leaf Season would be A+ for all who came. Everyday we give tours we walk among the beauty of the gardens. I am so grateful for the wonderful missionary couples who accept the assignments to serve their missions doing gardens and grounds on church sites. Thanks Andersons, Neffs, and Cottrells, we love and honor you. This year over 6,000 flowers were planted at the Joseph Smith Memorial. 4,500 were planted in the Spring and over 1,500 came in the Fall planting. How many ways can you say "BEAUTIFUL"
